El Anacronópete in English

I recently learned of Enrique Gaspar’s 1887 novel, El Anacronópete, about a mad scientist who builds an electric time-travelling airship. Naturally I wanted to read it, but there does not yet seem to be an English translation.

So, armed with Google Translate, my memory of high-school Spanish, and a reasonably good command of the English language, I am publishing my own amateur translation. Enjoy (and of course, corrections/criticism are greatly welcomed).
